Susan Czyzo BPHE, MScPT, Certified Pilates Instructor
Susan’s road to registered physiotherapy started with a six year commitment at the University of Toronto, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Health (2001), followed by a Master of Science in Physical Therapy (2007). As a loyal west end resident, Susan has always practiced on this side of Yonge, other than her three years in Australia and New Zealand.
Susan built on her foundational physiotherapy skills with continuing education in manual therapy and acupuncture. She then got hooked on the power of Pilates to assist with changes in movement control, posture, and core strength. Most recently she certified as a Nordic Pole Walking instructor.
With a strong belief in the power of daily movement, Susan prescribes individualized home exercise programs to all of her clients. Her varied sport history, from triathlon, to Australian Rules Football, to surfing, gives her the experience to adapt her clients’ training and get them back on track to doing what they love.
Outside the clinic, Susan is always looking for the next trail to hike and experiencing the rejuvenating power of being outdoors in nature. You may also find her behind the camera pursuing her love of photography, updating her travel blog with a recent adventure, or writing an article on injury prevention.
